| Baptist Instruction/New Disciples Ministry |

The mission of the Baptist Instruction and New Disciples Ministry is to welcome, instruct, and provide an introduction to new disciples to the Mt.
Olivet Baptist Church. The following areas of instruction have been designed for a classroom setting in a curriculum format: Assurance of Salvation;
Prayer & Fasting; Learning the Basics of the Bible, Worship, the Baptist Faith Tradition, Stewardship, Discipleship, and Ministry Preview. The ministry
will not only instruct, but will encourage the new disciple(s) to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ while becoming an active member in
a ministry for the cause of Christ.

The mission of the Bible Institute is to strengthen Christ-Centered families, to teach church doctrines and to provide educational support to
explore our church theme. There are three institute opportunities: Hattie DeBerry Churchwide Institute; Seasons of Life Family Bible Institute;
and the Dr. Marie B. Stinson Bible Institute.(See Church Calendar for Specific Dates)
| Christ Centered Discipleship (C.C.D.M.) Ministry |
C.C.D.M. is designed to equip our congregation to become Christ centered disciples through providing biblical, practical, and evangelical
teaching to those who are seeking to be Christ-centered. The mission of C.C.D.M. is to provide a structured environment, full of Christian support
where persons can be encouraged to model the Christ-centered life, to know and enjoy God and acknowledge God in every area of their lives.
Moreover, the aim of C.C.D.M. is to provide a pathway to ministry for every disciple.
C.C.D.M. classes are held on Wednesday, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and Thursday, 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

| Health / Nurses Corps Ministry |
The mission of the Health Ministry is to provide preventive related programs for healthy living; e.g., providing health education, resource information,
and medical support to our disciples. Our emphasis is in the holistic health maintenance - mind, body, and spirit while promoting harmony and growth
through increased self-awareness, stewardship, and unity with other disciples in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

The Sign Ministry is designed to serve Christ by serving the deaf who are in the worship experience. Members of this ministry provide sign language
interpretation of worship services.

The mission of the Sunday Church School is to teach the Bible systematically. In doing so, our goal is to cultivate, nurture and strengthen
the disciples and other ministries of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Family. In teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our goal is to fortify and sustain
disciples with God. The teachers of faith meet the 3rd Saturday of every other month for a teacher-training workshop in Room 207 at 10:00 a.m.

The purpose of this ministry is to provide spiritual guidance and moral Christian support to the new disciples of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, and
to help them to become a vibrant part of the body of Christ. This ministry seeks to give new disciples a feeling of love, caring and belonging by pairing
them with compatible, seasoned members, who will help them seek to live disciplined Christian lives, which align with the mission of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
